Amid their ongoing protests in Nepal, the Jan Jihan is holding a meeting to chalk out their agenda ahead of talks with the president and military on the formation of the country’s new government, elections and subsequent planning. It is being told that more than 4000 youth participated in this online virtual meeting. It is reported that a consensus is being formed on handing over the interim reins of the country to former Chief Justice Sushila Karki. Zenji will propose the name of Sushila Karki to the Army Chief shortly. According to sources, in the virtual meeting of Zenji Group held today, Sushila Karki got 31 percent votes and Kathmandu Mayor and rapper Balen Shah got 27 percent votes.

Know who is Sushila Karki

 Sushila Karki is a Nepalese jurist. She is the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal and the only woman to have held the position. Karki became Chief Justice on 11 July 2016. On 30 April 2017, an impeachment motion was introduced in Parliament against Karki by the Maoist Centre and the Nepali Congress. However, the impeachment motion was later withdrawn following public pressure and an interim order of the Supreme Court ordering Parliament not to proceed with the motion.
