QUAD’s boat sank… China took a dig at the group of India, US, Australia and Japan, gave ‘knowledge’ as soon as Modi returned from SCO

The Global Times wrote that “the US views its allies not as like-minded partners but as countries from which it can gain economic and security advantages. As long as their interests match US priorities, the partnership lasts. But as soon as interests clash, the US does not hesitate to abandon them.”

Beijing: The SCO summit held in Tianjin city of China has been a huge success. The arrival of Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin has given the SCO summit worldwide coverage. Apart from this, Donald Trump is being criticized in America for pushing India into the camp of China and Russia. But amidst all this, China has been successful in giving the message that by removing America, it is ready to play the role of leader in the new global order. Along with this, China has taken a dig at the QUAD group of America, India, Australia and Japan and has tried to give ‘knowledge’ to Delhi.

The Chinese Communist Party’s mouthpiece Global Times has tried to enlighten India in its editorial by taking a dig at the Quad. It says that ‘In recent years, the trend of “small circle” or alliances based on select countries has increased rapidly in international politics. The US-led “Quad” is an example of this, which includes the US, India, Japan and Australia. Initially it was presented in the name of security and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, but its purpose was to balance China and this is the fundamental weakness of the Quad.”
