Why Trump got irritated?
America is upset with the meeting of PM Modi, Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin at the SCO Summit held in China. The US President has made a big statement about India after the SCO Summit ended. Trump said that there has been a one-sided relationship with India for a long time.
Trump said, “Very few people understand that we do very little trade with India, but they do a lot of trade with us. In other words, they sell a huge amount of goods to us, which is their biggest customer, but we sell very little to them. So far it has been a completely one-sided relationship, and it has been going on for decades. The reason for this is that India has been imposing such high tariffs on us, more than any other country, that our businesses are not able to sell goods in India.
Trump has posted this statement on his Truth Social account. Looking at this statement of Trump, it seems that he is upset seeing the union of 3 superpowers (India-China-Russia) in China.
