Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to French President Emmanuel Macron over the phone on Saturday. The two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation between India and France.
He wrote, ‘Had a very good conversation with President Macron. We reviewed the progress in bilateral cooperation in various fields and expressed positive appreciation.
French President Emmanuel Macron wrote in a post on X, ‘I have just spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I met him in Paris last Thursday. India and France are equally committed to establishing a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Taking forward our friendship and strategic partnership. We will continue to move on this path towards peace.’
